JFK Letter

Dear Dottie,

You were about 10 when JFK was assassinated, so you were a little older then me when the 9/11 attacks happened. What was it like living when a president was assassinated? Was it scary being only 10 and having the leader of the country shot? Do you remember what your parents reaction were? Was the U.S in shock remorse over the president dieing what was it like for you as a kid to experience what you did? Did you have a big reaction, or did you not take it too seriously because you were only 10?

You said you remember there being chaos but it was handled well and the vice president and the first lady handled the situation very well. As we have progressed through time do you think our government has made progress? Or have we regressed and have become worse?

You have witnessed three major life changing events in you life. 1 JFK being assassinated. 2 the ist attacks of 9/11 and 3rd Obama becoming the first black president of the U.S, how does that make you feel? Have any of these major events impacted you life personally or even at all?
